C’est un complexe culturel, accueillant expositions, conférences, spectacles, restaurants, boutiques. Il se compose de quatre bâtiments et, surtout d’un incroyable atrium de verre, de forme elliptique. Il a été conçu par l’architecte Rafael Vinoly. L’ensemble a été achevé en 1996.
